Application Information

Applications are accepted annually through the Electronic Residency Application Service® (ERAS®) .

All positions will be filled through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).

The following documents must be available in ERAS prior to the decision to grant an interview:

Medical school transcript
MPSE (Dean’s letter – available to programs on October 1)
USMLE Step 1 or COMLEX Level 1; Step 2/Level 2 is not required at time of application
At least three letters of recommendation, with one coming from a radiologist
Personal statement

Applications must be complete by December 1.

The radiology residency does not include an integrated clinical year; however, applicants are encouraged to apply separately to one of our GME programs in preliminary medicine or surgery.

Applications from Osteopathic Applicants

We will accept COMLEX scores in lieu of USMLE.

Applications from International Medical School Graduates

International medical school graduates (IMGs) must submit through ERAS, in addition to the above materials:

ECFMG certification
Evidence of holding either permanent resident status or a J-1 visa; our institution does not sponsor any other type of visa
Evidence of satisfactory completion or being in the process of satisfactorily completing one year of clinical training as defined by the American Board of Radiology in an ACGME-accredited residency program

Application Status

Once application has been made through ERAS, the program coordinator will correspond through Interview Broker if you are to be invited for an interview.

We do not utilize specific cut-off scores on USMLE/COMLEX but rather take all parts of the application into consideration when making decisions to interview. However, only those applicants who have successfully passed Step 1/Level 1 on the first attempt will be considered for interview.

Eligibility requirements for certification are available from the American Board of Radiology.
