AHN Executive Health and Wellness Program
Between business trips, early mornings, late nights, and plenty of stress with managing home life, it’s difficult for executives and company leaders to make time for a yearly physical. To maintain stamina and leadership acumen, executives must be at their physical and mental best.
The AHN Executive Health and Wellness Program provides important preventive medicine and targeted diagnostic testing. We combine various screenings and a comprehensive medical history combined with a complete health assessment to detect conditions like cardiac disease, cancer, and other serious medical problems even before symptoms appear.
Our dedicated and experienced team of health care providers practice in a state-of-the-art medical facility, providing a customized experience for each executive based on their health profile.
What we do
When you participate in the AHN Executive Health and Wellness Program, each of your executives will have a complete health assessment and consultation with one of our dedicated physicians. We keep the process simple and handle all the details.
You’ll provide our program director with the names and contact information of your eligible leaders, then we’ll send each a welcome packet explaining the program, along with a medical history form for them to complete. Our clinical care team works directly with your executives or their administrative assistants to schedule their annual exam, coordinate tests or personal requests, and provide a detailed itinerary for their visit so they'll know what to expect.
Following the executive medical exam, our physicians will provide results and recommendations, answer any questions, and help coordinate follow-up care with specialists or schedule additional testing as needed.
Ongoing care and guidance
This process may repeat each year to continually monitor and improve the health of your executive leadership team. Our customized services section lists common exams and diagnostic tests that are included in the program. These can be customized to meet the needs of each individual executive or your organization as a whole.
Insurance
Executive health services are not processed through your health plan. Any additional recommendations may be covered.
Customized services
We create a customized assessment and recommendations based on each executive’s health profile taken from their medical history form. Our basic services include:
- Complete physical exam. This includes a health information analysis, a complete review of medical history with physician counseling and lifestyle recommendations, and taking vital signs like blood pressure, pulse, height, weight, and body mass index.
- Preventive laboratory testing. This includes a comprehensive metabolic panel, fasting lipid profile, complete blood count, urinalysis with microscopic examination, and thyroid function testing. We also get results for hemoglobin A1c, highly sensitive CRP, and vitamins D and B12.
- Prostate cancer screening. This tests the prostate-specific antigen (PSA), which is a protein produced by prostate cells.
- Hemoccult. This detects microscopic gastrointestinal bleeding from tumors, polyps, ulcers, and other conditions.
- Chest X-ray. We often perform chest X-rays to determine heart size, as well as screen for lung cancer and other pulmonary diseases.
- Spirometry/pulmonary function test (PFT). This test helps assess lung function and detect emphysema, bronchitis, asthma, and other airway problems.
- Audiogram. This provides recommendations for preserving hearing and amplifying hearing as needed.
- Resting electrocardiogram (EKG). This test records the electrical activity of the heart and provides indicators for a number of potentially serious heart conditions.
- Nutrition consultation. This involves meeting with our registered dietitian, who will determine body fat composition and calculate personalized caloric energy equations.
