Visit an AHN provider from the convenience of your home. Discuss your symptoms and concerns, including COVID-19, and receive quality care in minutes.
Urgent care is provided to anyone, including pediatric patients, through video visit by AHN primary care physicians and other licensed providers, such as nurse practitioners.
Use a virtual urgent care visit* if you’re experiencing any of the following:
- Coronavirus concerns
- Back pain
- Diarrhea or constipation
- Sinus and/or allergy problems
- Vaginal discharge/irritation
- Flu-like symptoms
- Eye irritation
- Urinary problems
- Breathing problems
- Minor sprains
Note: This is not a visit with your primary care physician (PCP). This visit will be scheduled with a qualified AHN provider who is available at that time.

How to schedule an urgent care video visit
Schedule your video visit appointment through MyChart.
- To schedule on the app: Log in to your MyChart account and click Menu, then 24/7 video visit. We recommend this option — it’ll give you the best connection.
- To schedule on the web: Log in to your MyChart account, click Menu, then 24/7 video visit, and finally 24/7 Virtual Urgent Care.
Remember, this isn’t a visit with your PCP. This visit will be scheduled with a qualified AHN provider available at that time.
Need to schedule a pediatric urgent care video visit?
First, you’ll need proxy access to the child’s account. Log in to your MyChart account, click the Profile tab, then My Family Access. Follow the instructions based on the child’s age. Once you have access, log in to the child’s account to schedule the visit.
Preparing for your urgent care video visit
You can use the MyChart app on your PC, tablet, or smartphone. It’s up to you. If your personal computer is a Mac, it’s currently recommended to use a mobile app instead. You must be present in Pennsylvania during your video visit.
Check your hardware in advance
For the best connection, use the MyChart app on your phone or tablet. It’s compatible with Apple and Android devices. We also recommend connecting over Wi-Fi and closing all other apps. Don’t forget to double-check that your camera and microphone are working.
Helpful tips for your video visit
Make sure you’re in a quiet location, then log in to your MyChart account. Click the Begin Your Visit button.
It’s a good idea to write down questions you have before your visit. Keep a pencil and paper handy to write down any notes or additional questions that come to mind. Also, make sure you have a list of any prescription and over-the-counter medications you take regularly.
