Rotations and Training Sites for the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program

Given the diverse career paths now available within cardiology, our fellowship must be flexible enough to meet the unique needs of each individual trainee. Thus, the program provides a strong foundation of core clinical experiences and didactics, complemented by large blocks of elective time to be tailored to personal goals and interests, including research and/or in-depth training in a particular clinical area.

Night Float (8-9 weeks) is embedded within the first two years of the curriculum. Vacation (4 weeks) is embedded in each year.

Rotations for Year 1

Year 1 rotations include the following:

Echocardiography – TTE (3 months)
Cardiac Cath Lab at AGH (2 months)
Clinical Consult Service (2 months)
Heart Failure / Transplant (1 month)
Electrophysiology (1 month)
Nuclear / PET (1 month)
CT / MRI (1 month)
Elective (1 month)
