Curriculum

Program Year and Rotations

The Otolaryngology resident will refine his or her diagnostic and treatment skills through a supervised, graduated experience. This approach allows the resident to develop expertise in treatment strategies to skillfully manage diseases of the head and neck. The residency curriculum builds on the core they learned in medical school. The Otolaryngology residency at Allegheny Health Network (AHN) is organized over a 5-year period to refine the resident’s ability to evaluate and properly diagnose progressively more complicated otolaryngology disorders.

See below for breakdown of individual rotations as they occur by each post-graduate year.
