Sometimes taking care of your health falls to the bottom of your to-do list. But with same-day appointments, you can quickly schedule an appointment with a primary care provider (PCP) or over 20 specialists. All you have to do is call (412) DOCTORS (412) 362-8677 by 11:00 AM.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, dial 911 or visit your local emergency department immediately. 

How to book a same-day appointment

Follow these steps to schedule your same-day appointment:

  1. Grab your insurance card. You’ll need it as you answer a few basic questions.
  2. Call (412) DOCTORS (412) 362-8677 before 11:00 AM Monday through Friday. If it’s after 11:00 AM or a weekend, we’ll still do our best to find you the next available appointment. Our team is available to help weekdays from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and weekends from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
  3. We’ll find you the next available appointment with a PCP or specialist.

Same-day appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Call as early as you can to ensure you get a spot. To ensure the highest levels of cleanliness, proper social distancing, and other Coronavirus safety protocols are in place, availability may be limited.

Types of same-day appointments

When you call (412) DOCTORS (412) 362-8677, you can get a same-day appointment with a PCP or with one of over 20 specialists.

Since you’re being seen the same day you call, you may not be able to see your typical PCP or a specific specialist. We’ll do our best to accommodate your needs, but same-day appointments are based on availability.

If you’re having an urgent health concern, the team may direct you to your closest emergency department or ask that you call 911.

At this time, we cannot schedule same-day appointments for procedures, including MRIs, CTs, mammograms, or surgeries.

Walk-ins are always welcome for X-rays and lab work, no scheduling necessary.

Use MyChart to schedule appointments with your primary care doctor or a variety of specialists. You’ll be able to view openings at various locations and schedule in a few clicks.
